When to Report

• Anytime a Match Official issues an Official Warning, Yellow Card, Or Red Card to a staff member.

  • The issuance of the Yellow Cards & Red Cards to staff will be obvious. The issuance of an Official Warning will be communicated by the 4th Official if not immediately evident.

• Anytime a Match Official does NOT issue an Official Warning, Yellow Card, or Red Card, but the following occurs:

  • A staff member or substitute is outside the technical area, dissenting aggressively for an extended period of time (cursing, yelling loudly, etc.) at the Match Officials, opposing club bench, and/or field players.

  • A staff member that is warming up substitutes near the endline or sideline is actively coaching or complaining to Officials from that position.
