The incident was reviewed under Disciplinary Committee Parameter #3:
Where the Officials See an Incident, and Do Not Act (i.e., no foul, foul, yellow card), the Committee shall act:
On incidents in which PRO acknowledges an on-field Referee/VAR error AND the Committee is unanimous at Red Card and One (1) match or Action Taken (simulation/embellishment); or,
On incidents in which discipline warrants at least a two (2) match suspension.
The play in question must be, in the unanimous opinion of the Committee from all available evidence:
a clear and unequivocal red card; and
egregious and/or repeat behavior in nature, and/or
the Committee must act to protect player safety or the integrity of the game.
It is the Disciplinary Committee's unanimous decision that Franco Escobar will be suspended for one (1) match and issued a fine for violent conduct.

Demarcation lines extend well beyond the bench area in violation of Competition Guidelines and as indicated by the red arrow in the image attached. The Technical Area should not extend more than a yard beyond the bench cover. Noted to MLS Operations.

The seating arrangement for the Stadium stretcher crew was questioned as to whether the attendants in direct contact with each other, failing to maintain six foot social distancing guidelines, is worth addressing with Clubs.

ORL Head Coach Oscar Pareja was observed to be interacting with match officials at halftime during the match on 8/22 versus MIA. An Official Warning was issued.
