05.27.23 STL-VAN VAN Mass Confrontation 93+min
It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that the Vancouver Whitecaps FC have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. This is the first violation of the 2023 MLS Season for the Club. The Vancouver Whitecaps FC will be issued an official warning for their first violation. Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.
Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following individuals have been identified for supplemental discipline:
• Vancouver Whitecaps FC defender Tristan Blackmon will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.
• Vancouver Whitecaps FC defender Ranko Veselinovic will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.
• Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Luis Martins will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.
• Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Andres Cubas will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.
• Vancouver Whitecaps FC forward Deiber Caicedo will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.
• Vancouver Whitecaps FC forward Levonte Johnson will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.

It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that FC Dallas has been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. This is the first violation of the 2023 MLS Season for the Club. FC Dallas will be issued an official warning for their first violation. Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.
It is the Committee's unanimous decision that the San Jose Earthquakes have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. This is the third violation of the 2023 MLS Season for the Club. The San Jose Earthquakes will be fined and Head Coach Luchi Gonzalez will be fined. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.
Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following individuals have been identified for supplemental discipline:
• San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper Daniel will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.
• San Jose Earthquakes forward Benjamin Kikanovic will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.
• FC Dallas forward Jader Obrian will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.

It is the Committee's unanimous decision that Seattle Sounders FC midfielder Joao Paulo failed to leave the field in a timely manner. Mr. Paulo will be issued a fine for this action.Foul Play.
