10.07.23 RSL-SKC SKC Mass Confrontation 2min

It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that Sporting Kansas City have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy.  This is the first violation of the 2023 MLS Season for the Club.  Sporting Kansas City will be issued an official warning for their first violation.  Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach.  Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following individuals have been identified for supplemental discipline:

• Sporting Kansas City midfielders Johnny Russell, Felipe Gutierrez, and forward Alan Pulido will each be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.

ATL Wolff Bench Personnel Policy Violation

Non- rostered ATL player Tyler Wolff was observed on the field as the team warmed up. This is ATL third violation of this policy. Their first violation of the season was on 5/31 vs. NE, and their second violation of the season was on 6/7 vs. LAFC. ATL will receive a fine.
