08.21.21 COL-RSL mass confrontation 83min
It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that the Colorado Rapids have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. The Club will be issued an Official Warning for their first violation. Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.
It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that Real Salt Lake have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. This is the second violation of the 2021 MLS Season for the Club. Real Salt Lake will be fined and Head Coach Freddy Juarez will be fined. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

LA were pictured with at least 9 additional non-rostered staff members in and around the Bench Area. They will be issued an Official Warning for the first club violation of the season.

The second half kick-off was delayed two minutes and forty-five seconds due to both teams being late arriving to the field. Noted to MLS Operations.
“You suck, asshole” chant repeated several times by supporters when the CHI goalkeeper took a goal-kick. Noted to MLS Security & Operations.

A Ball Retriever Violation was observed in the 86th minute when a ball was thrown directly to a player from the ball stand. Competition to investigate and address with the Club according to guidelines outlined in the Competition Manual.
