It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that both Nashville SC and New York City FC has been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. Both Clubs will be issued an Official Warning for their first violation. Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine. Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following players have been identified for supplemental discipline:

Jalil Anibaba (NASH), Ake Loba (NASH), Alex Muyl (NASH) will be issued fines for entering the field of play during a confrontational incident.

PHI First Team Opposition Scout & Senior Data Analyst followed the Match Officials toward their locker room post-match, berating them with abusive language. He will be issued a fine for this behavior.

The second half started a minute late due to both teams arriving to the field late. Noted to MLS Operations.
09.03.21 LAFC-SKC
A Banc of California/LAFC security representative engaged a player after he received a red card and while he was exiting the field. Noted to MLS Security & Operations.
09.03.21 LAFC-SKC Espinoza Inappropriate Behavior
It was determined that Roger Espinoza exhibited inappropriate behavior following his red card during his match on September 3, 2021 versus Los Angeles FC. He will be issued a fine for these actions.
09.04.21 VAN-ATX
VAN supporters chanted, “You, fat bastard” during ATX goalkeeper goal-kicks and free kicks in the 63rd, 67th, 78th, 88th minutes. Noted to MLS Security & Operations.
09.04.21 VAN-ATX VAN Ball Retrieval Violation
A Ball Retrieval violation by VAN Strength Coach, Jon Poli, was observed in the 81st minute of the VAN-ATX match. A ball was thrown directly to the player from the ball stand to expedite the taking of throw-in. The club will receive an Official Warning for their first violation of the season.
09.04.21 RSL-DAL
The Match Director was informed by the 4th Official that there was a fan behind AR2 who was repeatedly using targeted, abusive, and offensive language (“P**a”) directed at her (AR2). Security was notified and, after identifying the individual, the fan was removed.
09.04.21 ORL-CLB
The CLB Team Administrator made the Match Director aware of two fans behind the CLB bench who were heckling CLB players on the bench. The Match Director witnessed this behavior in the 85th minute. CLB claimed that the two fans were directing their abuse at CLB players, Keita and Etienne Jr. Further, CLB player, Evan Bush, claimed that one of the fans made a hand gesture that represents “white power”. CLB has followed up to see if they can assist in anyway and to inquire as to how MLS might be able to address this incident. Noted to MLS Security. Under Investigation.
Second half kick-off was delayed two minutes due to CLB arriving to the field late and broadcast delays. Noted to MLS Broadcast & Operations.
