04.13.24 POR-LAFC Crepeau RC Failure to leave field 49min

The Committee's unanimous decision is that Portland Timbers goalkeeper Maxime Crepeau failed to leave the field in a timely manner. Maxime Crepeau will be issued a fine for this action.

 

04.13.24 POR-LAFC Murillo Simulation-Embellishment 64min

The Committee's unanimous decision is that Los Angeles FC defender Jesus Murillo has violated the League’s policy regarding simulation/embellishment.  Jesus Murillo will be issued a fine for this action.

 

04.14.24 ATL-PHI PHI Mass Confrontation post-match

The Committee’s unanimous decision is that the Philadelphia Union has violated the League’s Mass Confrontation Policy.  This is the first violation of the 2024 MLS Season for the Club.  The Philadelphia Union and Head Coach Jim Curtin will be issued Official Warnings for this violation.  Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach.  Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following individuals have been identified for supplemental discipline: 

  • Philadelphia Union defender Kai Wagner, midfielders Alejandro Bedoya, Quinn Sullivan, Daniel Gazdag, Jack McGlynn, and forward Julian Carranza will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.

04.13.24 RBNY-CHI Reyes RC Contact Salquist 40min

The incident was reviewed under Disciplinary Committee Parameter #2: Where the Officials See an Incident, and Issue(d) a Red Card, the Committee may review the play for further disciplinary action. Supplemental discipline (suspension and/or fine) will be administered if the Committee believes:

  • the offense is egregious in nature; and/or

  • it must act to protect Player safety; and/or

  • it must protect the integrity of the game; and/or

  • the Player is guilty of repeat behavior.

The Committee’s unanimous decision is that New York Red Bulls defender Andres Reyes will be suspended one (1) additional match (two (2) matches total) and issued an additional fine for Violent Conduct.

SKC Head Coach Vermes can be seen removing the ball from the midfield ball stand to deliver it to a player for the throw in. SKC will receive an Official Warning with a fine held in abeyance.

MTL Head Coach Courtois can be seen removing the ball from the midfield ball stand to deliver it to a player for the throw-in. MTL will receive an Official Warning with a fine held in abeyance.

RBNY and CHI Staff members can be seen interacting with the Match Officials at halftime. RBNY and CHI will both receive an Official Warning for their first offense of the season.
