The Committee's unanimous decision is that San Jose Earthquakes midfielder Niko Tsakiris has violated the League’s policy regarding simulation/embellishment. Niko Tsakiris will be issued a fine for this action.

The Committee's unanimous decision is that Toronto FC midfielder Federico Bernardeschi failed to leave the field in a timely manner. Federico Bernardeschi will be issued a fine for this action.

 

 06.01.24 DC-TOR Stroud kicking ball toward stands post-match

The Committee’s unanimous decision is that DC United midfielder Jared Stroud has violated the League’s policy regarding Throwing/Kicking an Object Toward Fans. Accordingly, Jared Stroud will be issued a fine and will be placed on ‘Official Warning’ for the remainder of the 2024 MLS Season (including MLS Playoffs). The fine shall be held in abeyance provided there are no further violations of the Throwing/Kicking an Object Toward Fans policy during the 2024 MLS Season (including MLS Playoffs).

The Committee's unanimous decision is that CF Montreal forward Ariel Lassiter failed to leave the field in a timely manner. Ariel Lassiter will be issued a fine for this action.

 

06.01.24 NASH-NE Arreaga Failure to leave field 53min

The Committee's unanimous decision is that New England Revolution defender Xavier Arreaga failed to leave the field in a timely manner. Xavier Arreaga will be issued a fine for this action.

 

06.01.24 VAN-COL COL Mass Confrontation 45min

The Committee’s unanimous decision is that the Colorado Rapids have violated the League’s Mass Confrontation Policy.  This is the third violation of the 2024 MLS Season for the Club.  The Colorado Rapids will be fined and Head Coach Chris Armas will be fined. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following individuals have been identified for supplemental discipline: 

  • Colorado Rapids defender Lalas Abubakar, midfielders Cole Bassett, Connor Ronan, and Djordje Mihailovic and forward Kevin Cabral will be issued fines for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.
