Sporting Kansas City have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. This is the second violation of the 2018 MLS Season for Sporting Kansas City. Sporting Kansas City will be issued a fine and the Head Coach will be issued a fine. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.
LA Galaxy have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. The Club will be issued a warning for their first violation. Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

10.06.18 SKC-LAG Smoke
At the beginning of the match, smoke covering most of the field/stadium negatively impacted visibility.
10.06.18 TOR-VAN VMD
The VMD listed on the Official Match Notice, Ira Smith, dressed in VMD attire, sat on the TOR bench and attended to an opposing club player’s injury. A separate VMD sat at the 4th Official’s Table but did not attend to players at any time. Noted to MLS Medical.
10.06.18 TOR-VAN Bench Personnel Policy
VAN was observed in violation of the Bench Personnel Policy. Two (2) unidentified individuals who were not listed on the Official Match Roster sat on folding chairs next to the bench during the match. In doing so, VAN exceeded the maximum number of seventeen (17) individuals on the bench. Discipline is pending further investigation.
10.06.18 RSL-POR Bench Personnel Policy
POR Team Administrator, Spencer Childs, was observed in violation of the Bench Personnel Policy. Mr. Childs was observed behind the bench despite not being listed on the Official Match Roster. He will be sanctioned consistent with the schedule outlined in the Competition Manual for his second offense.
10.06.18 PHI-MIN Fan Concern
Two (2) fans with a concerning history of controversial interactions with players were permitted on the field after the match after being invited onto the field by the Home Club Head Coach. MLS senior executives will consider how to protect against future instances in the interests of player safety and security.
10.07.18 SEA-HOU Pre-Match Roster Irregularity
A change was made the Official Match Roster within :15 minutes of kickoff as depicted by the accompanying roster image. A player from the starting lineup was removed and deemed ineligible. A player from the substitute’s bench was inserted into the starting lineup and no additional player was permitted as a substitute in his place per the policy. The PME notified the Competition Contact immediately via text per the PME Pre-Match Roster Change Protocol.
10.06.18 SKC-LAG Video Board Replay
SKC was observed in violation of the Video Board Replay Policy in the 25th, 45+1, and 49th minute. SKC displayed a replay of a controversial incident prior to the restart of play. Pending investigation.

A pitch invader was apprehended after the match ended.
