CIN Head Coach, Koch, was observed in violation of the Interacting with Match Officials at Halftime Policy.  He will be warned for his first violation.

04.13.19 HOU-SJ Bench Behavior 75min

SJ Assistant Coach, Bonini, was observed in violation of the Bench Behavior Policy in the 68th – 75th minutes.  Bonini was coaching from the goal-line while warming up substitutes.  The 4th Official warned him against any continued violation. Bonini will be warned for his first violation.

An opposing coach expressed concern regarding the proximity of the midfield broadcast camera to the field in the interests of player safety. MLS Broadcast has indicated that the location of the camera meets minimum regulations of eight (8) feet.

The VMD sat on the LAG bench in 2018 VMD Neutral MLS gear instead of at the 4th Official’s Table. Noted to MLS Medical.

COL was observed in violation of the Bench Personnel Policy.  Four members of their extended staff not listed on the Official Match Roster sat or stood next to the bench and technical area.  COL will be warned for their first violation.

04.13.19 MTL-CLB Ball Kid Gamesmanship 70min

The Referee Report included a reference to Ball Kid gamesmanship and/or match manipulation.  After MTL took the lead 1-0, the 4th Official asked that the PME note any “slowing down” of play by the Ball Kids.  After an investigation, it appears that MTL Operations worked with their Ball Kids to improve their effectiveness, and no gamesmanship or match manipulation was evident.
