Chicago Fire Assistant Coach Eric Gehrig was observed to have been interacting with Match Officials at halftime by the PME and on video. He was issued a warning for his first violation of this policy.

Toronto FC Assistant Coach Dan Calichman was observed to have been interacting with Match Officials at halftime by the PME and on video. He was issued a warning for his first violation of this policy.


06.26.19 TOR-ATL Miyauchi Bench Personnel Policy Violation

Toronto FC Assistant Therapist Shohei Miyauchi was not listed on the Official Match Roster, but was observed to have been sitting behind the ATL bench after moving down from the stands during the match. The team was issued a warning.

In the 65th minute, it was noted that SJ fans behind the HOU GK goal engaged in the ‘P*to” during goal kicks. Noted to MLS Security/Operations.

There was a brief delay in the game due to a fan entering the field of play. Noted to Security/Operations. 

06.26.19 DAL-VAN Fan Conduct

VAN player Adnan appeared to be targeted by the DAL fans throughout the 2nd half. A DAL field manager reported to the PME that he overheard a fan yelling repeatedly “we’ll get you a hot dog” at Adnan, indicating that it may have had a religious connotation. The PME also heard the phrase from the fan at least once. Previously noted to MLS Security.
