10.19.19 SEA-DAL SEA Fan Incident
In the 123rd minute, a fan seated in field level seats leaned over the LED boards to catch the ball and held it out toward the DAL player as he was running to take the throw-in. Before the FCD player could take the ball, the fan tossed it over his head into the crowd. Noted to MLS Operations.

At halftime, as the Officials were approaching the tunnel, they were verbally abused by fans while walking through the restaurant. A fan was cautioned for his behavior by the Officials’ security escort. Noted to MLS Security.

Before the match, the goal line between one set of the goalposts needed to be 'thickened' to ensure that it aligned with the back of the post. This was requested by the PRO representative, Mark Geiger, following the field inspection. The issue was rectified by ATL Operations in advance of warm ups. Noted to MLS Operations.

In the 104th minute, a fan ran onto the field. The fan was tackled and detained by security. Noted to MLS Security.

The audio recording device, which appeared to be functional during pre-game, did work at kick-off. Instead, it read ‘Please Wait’ until the 6th minute when the issue was resolved. Noted to MLS Operations.

Two (2) pitch invaders: one (1) following a goal in the 106th minute and one (1) following the final whistle were restrained and removed by security. Noted to MLS Security.
