Additional Competition Policy Issues
05.08.22 ATX-LA
Broadcast informed the Match Officials that kick-off would occur ten minutes after the time posted on the Match Notice. MLS Competition provided updates to Match Director as decisions were being made.
05.08.22 NSH-RSL
A whistle was heard by the RSL goalkeeper in the 12th minute and reported to the Referee. The Referee informed the 4th Official who notified stadium security and operations. There were no further occurrences reported. Noted to MLS Operations & Security.
05.07.22 LAFC-PHI
An object was thrown from the stands toward the PHI players celebrating their goal in the 67th minute. Noted to MLS Security.
PHI Bench Personnel Policy Violation
Non-Rostered Player Joe Bendik and 2 non-rostered PHI staff members were observed in the technical area during the match. The Club will be issued an Official Warning with a fine held in abeyance should they violate the same policy at any point later in the season.

The midfield camera did not have padding. Noted to MLS Operations.

Multiple cases of players slipping and/or losing their footing while playing were reported. Noted to MLS Operations.
DAL Ball Retriever Violation 10min & 45min
Ball Retriever violations were identified in the 10th and 45th minutes. DAL will receive an Official Warning and a fine held in abeyance, which will be payable should they violate the same policy at any point again in the 2022 season.
05.07.22 ATL-CHI
ATL Ball Retriever Violations 47min & 77min
Ball Retriever violations were identified in the 47th and 77th minutes. ATL will receive a fine for their 2nd violation of the policy during the 2022 season.
05.07.22 MIN-CIN
First half kick-off was delayed a minute and twenty-two seconds due to field operations repairing the grass in the north goal mouth area. Additional details from the Referee and Match Director have been provided separately to MLS Operations.
MIN Ball Retrieval Violation 90+5min
A fan retrieved a ball from a ball stand and delivered it directly to a player in the 90+5 minute. MIN will receive an Official Warning and a fine held in abeyance, which will be payable should they violate the same policy at any point again in the 2022 season.

The Audio Recording Device continues to exhibit faulty functionality. DC Operations indicated that a new one had been ordered. Noted to MLS Operations.
