05.23.21 NSH-ATX Substitution Cards
NSH was confused by the substitution card distribution. The approach is as follows: The fourth official should be giving the WHITE and the PINK substitution cards to the teams at the start of the game/during the Match Coordination Meeting. The BLUE substitution cards should stay in the possession of the fourth official. Only when a concussion substitution is about to be made should the fourth official give the opposing team a blue substitution card. Noted to MLS Operations who will communicate to clubs.
05.23.21 NSH-ATX Fan Conduct
A whistle could be heard in the stands during the run of play. Video is from the 92nd minute. Noted to MLS Operations & Security.

1st half kick was 40 seconds late due to broadcast. Noted to MLS Broadcast & Operations.
2nd half kick was one minute late due to broadcast. Noted to MLS Broadcast & Operations.
05.22.21 HOU-VAN
Fan Conduct - After the HOU goal, the Referee reported to the Match Director that AR2 had been hit by objects thrown from the crowd. The Match Director notified stadium security. At halftime, the Match Director found Skittles and peanut M&Ms on the sideline where the incident occurred. Noted to MLS Security.
The second half started two minutes late due to broadcast. Noted to MLS Broadcast & Operations.

Ball Stand Guidelines - The ball stand balls were not removed at the end of the first half. A CLB player accessed a ball stand ball for halftime warmups and the stand remained empty to start the second half. NYC should adhere to best practices in order to avoid these circumstances in the future. Noted to MLS Operations.
NYC was late arriving to the field for the pre-match procession by three minutes and to start the second half. Noted to MLS Operations.

Match Officials’ communication equipment issue caused a delay to the 1st half kick-off. PRO working to prevent issue in future.
Unidentified MIA Bench Personnel threw a spare ball onto the field during a throw-in in the 57th minute. Official Warning issued to the club for Violation of Bench Behavior Policy.
05.22.21 MTL-CIN Audio Recording Device
Audio Recording Device batteries were no longer working. Replacements were found around halftime, but audio was not recorded for the first half. Noted to MLS Operations.
05.22.21 MTL-CIN Ball Retriever Violation
Ball Retriever at DRV PNK Stadium delivered a ball directly to a player in the 10th minute in violation of the ball retrieval guidelines. Club issued an Official Warning.
05.22.21 DAL-RSL Ball Retrieval Violation 76min
DAL-FC Dallas Bench Personnel accessed a Ball Stand Ball to expedite the restart of play in the 76th minute. Official Warning issued to club.
