7.03.21 CLB-NE Santos simulation-embellishment 55min

It is the Committee's unanimous decision that Pedro Santos is guilty of simulation/embellishment.  Mr. Santos will be issued a fine for this action.

Additional Competition Policy Issues

07.01.21 ATX-CLB

Match Officials could hear stadium operations personnel audio through their walkie-talkies. Noted to MLS Operations.

Multiple objects were thrown from the stands including one that landed on the field after the ATX goal in the 84th minute. Noted to MLS Security & Operations.

07.03.21 CLB-NE

During the field inspection prior to the match, the two penalty spots were painted as circles. Referee Alan Kelly communicated with the groundskeeper, and the groundskeeper had both spots filled in with paint. Noted to MLS Operations.

During the field inspection, the officials indicated that the goals had KwikGoal stickers on them. The grounds crew put white tape over the KwikGoal stickers. Noted to MLS Operations.

Second half start was delayed 45 seconds due to the DC United players’ huddle. Noted to MLS Operations.

The VMD was not present at the Match Coordination Meeting. Noted to MLS Medical.

DMR distribution occurred incorrectly and early. The technology provider was notified and the issue has been rectified. Both clubs, PRO, & the Match Director were made aware of the error prior to the match.

NSH Bench Personnel Policy Violation

During pre-match warm-ups, Nashville had two players (#11 Pineiro and #70 Bwana) warming up that were not listed on the Official Match Roster. The club was issued an Official Warning for it’s first violation of the season.

07.03.21 MTL-MIA

There was no padding around the midfield camera positioned 5 yards from the sideline. Noted to MLS Operations.

VMD was 4 minutes late to the Match Coordination Meeting. Noted to MLS Medical.

07.03.21 HOU-CIN

In the 82nd minute, an incident occurred between the CIN Club Administrator and the Red hat, Jocelyn Contreras. While the Club Administrator was in the process of trying to substitute a Player, the Red Hat confronted him, placed her hands on him, and tried to push him away. A brief verbal confrontation ensued. Noted to MLS Security & Operations.

The second half started three minutes late due to broadcast. Noted to MLS Broadcast & Operations.
