It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that San Jose Earthquakes Player Daniel Vega has been found in violation of the League’s Bench Behavior policy.  Mr. Vega will be issued an Official Warning for this action.

07.17.21 NSH-CHI Bench Personnel Policy Violation

The violation is in reference to non-rostered players (forward Rodrigo Pineiro, midfielder Irakoze Donasiyano and defender Robert Castellanos) in bench areas, at field level, or in the locker room from ninety (90) minutes prior to kick off until the conclusion of the match. NSH received an Official Warning for this violation.

Following the MTL goal in the 89th minute, there was a flare thrown from the stands that landed in the CIN penalty area. This delayed kick off by 30 seconds. Noted to MLS Operations & Security.
