VMD was not at the MCM, did not introduce himself to the Match Officials, and arrived shortly before kick-off. Noted to MLS Medical.
Match Director noted a "F%$k the Ref" chant coming from the Riot Squad section in corner of stadium nearest to player tunnel in the 81st minute. Noted to MLS Security.
Match Director overheard "P" chant originating from an area near the corner of the stadium nearest AR #1 close to the corner portion of the stands in the 90+2 minute. Noted to MLS Security.
07.13.22 MIA-PHI
MIA Ball Retrieval Violation (Bench Personnel) 31min
A ball retrieval violation by MIA Head Coach Phil Neville was observed in the 31st minute. The club will be fined for their 2nd violation of this policy in 2022.
Audio Recording Device only had one microphone attached. Noted to MLS Operations.
A loud whistle was heard coming from the stands behind the north end goal. It could be heard several times in 36th minute. The Match Director spoke with the 4th official and asked him if the whistle was affecting the Referee / Players. The 4th Official said the whistle was loud and requested that the Match Director notify the stadium operations and ask them to make an announcement over the stadium loudspeaker. The Match Director spoke with Tony Correa from stadium operations and asked him to make an announcement. Mr. Correa told the Match Director that MIA have security personnel located in the stands and indicated that they would radio security to look for the whistler and stop it from being blown. The Match Director did NOT notice the whistle after this issue was addressed. Noted to MLS Security.
During the second half, the “boom” camera on the north end of the field was crossing the goal line. The Referee had to temporarily delay the match to have the camera moved before the corner kick. Noted to MLS Broadcast and Operations.

TOR Themi Antonoglou Bench Personnel Policy Violation
Non-Rostered TOR player Themi Antonoglou was was observed in the bench area 30 minutes prior to kickoff. TOR will be fined for the 2nd violation of the policy in 2022.
07.13.22 DAL-NYC
NYC Cody Mizell Bench Personnel Policy Violation
Non-Rostered NYC GK Cody Mizell was observed warming up on the field within 60 minutes prior to kickoff. For their first violation of the season, NYC will receive an Official Warning and a fine held in abeyance, which will be payable should they violate the same policy at any point again in the 2022 season.
