It is the Committee's unanimous decision that Matko Miljevic is guilty of simulation/embellishment.  Mr. Miljevic will be issued a fine for this action.

The yellow card issued to Oriol Rosell (SKC), as a result of this incident, will be absolved from his yellow card accumulation total and any disciplinary points from Sporting Kansas City’s total will be dismissed.

It is the Committee's unanimous decision that Andrew Farrell failed to leave the field in a timely manner.  Mr. Farrell will be issued a fine for this action.

07.09.22 SEA-POR Ragen Failure to leave the field 46min

It is the Committee's unanimous decision that Jackson Ragen failed to leave the field in a timely manner.  Mr. Ragen will be issued a fine for this action.

07.09.22 CIN-RBNY Acosta Contact referee 93+min

It is the Disciplinary Committee's unanimous decision that Luciano Acosta will be suspended for two (2) matches and issued a fine for exhibiting aggressive behavior toward and making unwanted physical contact with a match official.

07.09.22 CIN-RBNY Acosta Failure to leave the field 93+min

It is the Committee's unanimous decision that Luciano Acosta failed to leave the field in a timely and orderly manner.  Mr. Acosta will be issued a fine for this action.

 

07.09.22 HOU-DAL Mass Confrontation 81min

Both FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo FC have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy.  Both Clubs will be issued a warning for their first violation.  Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach.  Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following individuals have been identified for supplemental discipline:

  • FC Dallas player Jader Obrian will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.

  • Houston Dynamo FC players Memo Rodriguez, Ethan Bartlow and Roberto Avila will be issued fines for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.

07.09.22 CIN-RBNY

Profane and insulting chant targeting RBNY player, Amaya, in the 14th minute. Noted to MLS Security.

07.09.22 ORL-MIA

MIA expressed concern that they were not provided with timely updates regarding the weather delay and then notified suddenly of the need to be on the field within 2 minutes. Noted to MLS Operations & ORL Operations.

07.09.22 HOU-DAL

Water bottles, beer cans, wrist bands and other objects were thrown on the field in the 69th, 82nd, 86th, 90+3, and 90+10 minutes. In total, there were six incidents. Wrist bands hit the DAL head coach and assistant coach. The incident in the 90+3 minute was directed at DAL players celebrating their goal. Noted to MLS Security.

07.09.22 NYC-NE

 

NE Technical Director Curt Onalfo Interacting with Officials Policy Violation

Club Executive Staff may not have deliberate interaction with Match Officials on gameday. NE Technical Director Curt Onalfo was observed using aggressive, abusive, and profane language towards Match Officials at Halftime of the NYC-NE match on 7/9. He will receive a fine for this violation.

07.09.22 ATL-ATX Ball Retrieval Violation 26min

An ATL bench personnel delivered a ball directly to a player from the ball stand. ATL will be fined for their second violation of the policy in 2022.

Non-Rostered ATL Player Brad Guzan was observed at field level during warm-ups. ATL will be fined for their 2nd violation of this policy in 2022.

Non-Rostered ATX Player Washington Corozo was observed at field level during warm-ups. ATX will be fined for their 2nd violation of this policy in 2022.

07.09.22 MTL-SKC

SKC player, #7, Russell, was struck by a coin thrown from a spectator behind the SKC goal. This was not witnessed firsthand by the officiating crew or other observers. Noted to MLS Security.

07.09.22 SEA-POR

There was no memory card inserted into the Audio Recording Device. Noted to MLS Operations.

Two banners were observed hanging in the stadium during pre-game warm-ups by POR supporters in the POR fan section of the stadium. One read, "Merritt Paulson protects abusers" and the other read, "Silencing women since 2015". Stadium security made the fans take down the banner specifically naming Merritt Paulson, but the other remained throughout the match. Noted to MLS Security.

07.08.22 VAN-MIN

Just prior to kick-off, an unidentified individual removed the microphones from the Audio Recording Device. Noted to MLS Security.

07.08.22 LAFC-LA

LA fans in Sections 21 and 217 were observed throwing beer and other liquids on fans in the sections below them in the 55th minute. Noted to MLS Security.
