08.02.22 SEA-DAL
The stadium scoreboard clock stopped at 45:10 into the second half. Other game clocks at the ends of the stadium continued to work properly. Scoreboard clocks were restored at 53:55. The same clocks stopped again at 71:32 and were fixed again at 75:20. Clocks at the ends of the stadium continued to run and keep correct time throughout the match. Noted to MLS Operations.

At 94:40, a spectator ran onto the field from the goal line of the Red Bull supporter group. He made his way all the way across the field to the other end as he was being chased. He circled back around and ran towards midfield and then towards the sideline near the 4th Officials Table. There were multiple people chasing him from different directions before he was finally stopped and removed. Noted to MLS Security.

COL GK Coach Chris Sharpe was observed approaching the Match Officials after the halftime whistle. He will be issued a fine for his second violation of the policy this season.

SJ Ball Retrieval Violation 62min (Bench Personnel)
A Ball Retrieval violation by SJ Bench Personnel was observed in the 62nd minute. For their first violation of the season, SJ will receive an Official Warning and a fine held in abeyance, which will be payable should they violate the same policy at any point again in the 2022 season.

Neither Club was provided with the correct colored substitution cards by home Club Operations. Pink “Concussion Substitute” cards were used in lieu of normal substitution cards (white). Noted to MLS Operations.
In the 85th minute during the taking of a goal kick, an audible “P” chant could be heard from the RSL supporters’ section directly behind the LAFC goal. The information was relayed to the Match Director via the 4th Official. A second incident occurred in the 89th minute and the same protocol was followed. An in-stadium announcement was made addressing the chant in the 91st minute. Noted to MLS Security.

After the match, an object was thrown from the stands towards DAL #7, Arriola, but did not hit him. Noted to MLS Security.

HOU Bench Personnel Policy Violation
Non-Rostered HOU Director of Team Ops Recruitment and Retention Allen Hopkins was observed sitting in the technical area throughout the match. For their first violation of the season, HOU will receive an Official Warning and a fine held in abeyance, which will be payable should they violate the same policy at any point again in the 2022 season.
