The incident was reviewed under Disciplinary Committee Parameter #1: Where the Officials Do Not See the Incident, and therefore do not have the opportunity to act, the Committee will review any and all evidence and may act to discipline a Player (e.g., an off-the-ball offense).
It is the Disciplinary Committee's unanimous decision that New York City FC midfielder Richard Ledezma will be suspended two (2) matches and issued a fine for violent conduct – spitting at an opponent.

It is the Committee's unanimous decision that FC Cincinnati midfielder Alvaro Barreal is guilty of simulation/embellishment. Mr. Barreal will be issued a fine for this action.

Although there will not be supplemental discipline issued at this time, it is the Committee's unanimous decision that Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Sebastian Berhalter will be placed on ‘Official Warning’ for Serious Foul Play for his next five (5) 2023 MLS Season matches (including MLS Playoffs).

It is the Committee's unanimous decision that Los Angeles FC have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. This is the second violation of the 2023 MLS Season for the Club. Los Angeles FC will be fined and Head Coach Steve Cherundolo will be fined. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.
Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following individuals have been identified for supplemental discipline:
Los Angeles FC defender Giorgio Chiellini and midfielders Ilie Sanchez and Kellyn Acosta will be issued fines for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.

It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that Real Salt Lake have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. This is the first violation of the 2023 MLS Season for the Club. Real Salt Lake will be issued an official warning for their first violation. Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.
