It is the Committee's unanimous decision that Eduard Atuesta is guilty of simulation/embellishment.  Mr. Atuesta will be issued a fine for this action.

The yellow card issued to Jeremy Ebobisse (SJ) as a result of this incident will be absolved from his yellow card accumulation total and any disciplinary points from San Jose’s total will be dismissed.

It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that Los Angeles FC has been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy.  The Club will be issued an Official Warning for their first violation.  Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach.  Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following players have been identified for supplemental discipline:

  • Latif Blessing (LAFC) and Raheem Edwards (LAFC) will both be issued fines for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.

It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that Inter Miami CF Head Coach Phil Neville has been found in violation of the League’s policy regarding Entering the Field of Play.  Mr. Neville will be issued a fine for this action (2nd violation of 2021 MLS Season (including MLS Playoffs)).

08.07.21 CIN-ORL

The first half kick-off was delayed 1:07 due to broadcast. Noted to MLS Broadcast & Operations.

The second half kick-off was delayed 25 seconds due to broadcast. Noted to MLS Broadcast & Operations.

A microphone was identified attached to the net on the north side goal during the field inspection prior to the match. It was not removed despite several requests. Noted to MLS Operations.

A toddler ran 25 yards onto the field during the run of play in the 71st minute. His caregiver chased after, caught him in spectacular fashion around mid-field and carried him at full sprint back to their seats. Noted to MLS Security & Operations.

30th minute Video Board Replay Policy Violation. Investigating.

Fans in the supporters’ section (Nordecke) chanted, “F$%& you, Referee” repeatedly and in unison in the 66th minute (followed by a PA announcement asking fans to cease chanting the phrase) and the 73rd minute. Noted to MLS Security & Operations.

Match Officials reported that security/protection is required when leaving the field through Southwest tunnel where the crew was subjected to obscene language and a hostile environment. Noted to MLS Security & Operations.

08.07.21 DAL-ATX

The second half started late due to broadcast. Noted to MLS Broadcast & Operations.

At the end of the first half, someone entered the VOR looking for the VRC. The individual had a Tier 3 pass. During the halftime interval, the individual was arguing with security and the AVAR stating that he can get in anywhere with his pass and then made an obscene gesture with his middle finger. When the game resumed, he was seen in the crowd doing the same thing to the fans. The VAR replay operator clipped the incidents as evidence and they are available upon request. At the end of the game, the individual was drinking in the hospitality lounge on the first floor where the VARs pass by to get to their cars. Addressed with MLS Security, PRO, & FC Dallas.

The second half kick-off started 35 seconds late due to Referee communication device technical issues. Noted to PRO.

The second half kick-off started a minute late due to CHI arriving to the field late. Noted to MLS Operations.

A woman walked into the VOR right before the start of the match. There is no security, no VAR restricted access placard and there are fans walking by the door throughout the duration of the match. There is also no lock on the door. The woman came in during the national anthems and was asking for the WiFi password. Addressed with MLS Security, PRO, & Chicago Fire.

The first half kick-off started 52 seconds late due to prolonged pregame ceremonies. Noted to MLS Operations.

A paper airplane was thrown from the second level of the stadium and landed next to a SJ player on the field in the 89th minute. Noted to MLS Security & Operations.
