It is the Committee's unanimous decision that Alan Franco failed to leave the field in an orderly manner. Mr. Franco will be issued a fine for this action.
11.21.21 POR-MIN mass confrontation 84min
It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that both the Portland Timbers and Minnesota United FC have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. This is the second violation of the 2021 MLS Season for both Clubs. The Portland Timbers and Minnesota United FC will be fined. Portland Timbers’ Head Coach Giovanni Savarese (POR) and Minnesota United FC’s Head Coach Adrian Heath (MIN) will both be fined. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.
Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following individuals have been identified for supplemental discipline:
Osvaldo Alonso (MIN) and Franco Fragapane (MIN) will be issued fines for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.

11.20.21 PHI-NYRB
Second half kick-off was delayed two minutes due to both Clubs arriving late to the field. Noted to MLS Operations.
11.21.21 POR-MIN
Smoke discharged by supporters blocked the high left endzone camera which impacted the VAR’s view. MLS Security indicated that the smoke is authorized at the start of the match and after goals.
11.21.21 NYC-ATL
NYC itemized a 25-minute warm up on the pregame timeline, which is consistent with their traditional approach. While this timeline complies with the minimum standards outlined in the MLS Competition Guidelines, it is not consistent with the 30 minutes afforded Clubs in other venues and resulted in a complaint from ATL on this occasion. Competition & Operations investigating.
11.23.21 NSH-ORL
The quality of the surface was at standard, but the football lines and logos were clearly visible as expected. Noted to MLS Operations.
