A COL Ball Retriever was observed returning a ball directly back to a player. The club will be issued an Official Warning for their first violation of the season.
11.30.21 NE-NYC NE Bench Personnel Policy Violations
Non-Rostered NE GK Earl Edwards was observed on the field during warm ups. Non-Rostered Assistant Coach Shalrie Joseph was observed sitting on the bench throughout the match. The club will be issued an Official Warning for their first violation of the season.

The first half kick-off was delayed one minute due to broadcast. Noted to MLS Broadcast.
A fan grabbed the ball stand ball at 63:20 on the south sideline opposite the benches. The individual threw the ball to a NYC FC player to expedite the taking of a throw-in. Multiple ball stands on the sideline opposite the benches are within arm's distance of fans. This was noted to the Club's Director of Operations as an issue to rectify in 2022.
Blue smoke was set off post-match just below the 200 level where NYC FC supporters were located. The incident seemed to be addressed quickly by stadium security.
12.05.21 PHI-NYC
The Audio Recording Device was not set up when warm-ups began. The Match Director notified PHI Operations and they rectified the issue. However, there was no club memory card in the device. Noted to MLS Operations.
12.04.21 POR-RSL
Pink smoke was emitted by the POR Supporters located at the North End in the 25th minute. The Match Commissioner notified MLS Operations in-game who indicated that this was a known protest prior to the match.
There was no Club memory card in the Audio Recording Device. Noted to MLS Operations.
There was no Ball Stand or ball at the 4th Official’s Table resulting in a delay in the restart of play and RSL bench personnel ball retrieval violation in 35th minute. The Match Commissioner addressed the issue with POR Operations who rectified the issue immediately by re-positioning a stand to comply with the guidelines.
A pitch invader was apprehended by security near mid-field post-match. Noted to MLS Security.
