10.02.24 CLB-MIA Camacho failure to leave field 63min

The Committee's unanimous decision is that Columbus Crew defender Rudy Camacho failed to leave the field in a timely manner. Rudy Camacho will be issued a fine for this action.

 

10.02.24 TOR-RBNY Bernardeschi Failure to leave field 75min

The Committee's unanimous decision is that Toronto FC midfielder Federico Bernardeschi failed to leave the field in an orderly manner.  Federico Bernardeschi will be issued a fine for this action (second violation of the 2024 MLS Season).

 

10.02.24 NSH-DC McVey YC contact Godoy 37min

The incident was reviewed under Disciplinary Committee Parameter #3: Where the Officials See an Incident, and Do Not issue a Red Card or Act on a Case of Clear and Obvious Simulation/Embellishment that Meets the Conditions for Suspension, the Committee shall issue the following:

  • One (1) Match Suspensions - On incidents in which PRO acknowledges an on-field Referee/VAR error AND the Committee is unanimous at Red Card and One (1) match or Action Taken (simulation/embellishment); or, in cases pursuant to Section (VI.B.4.d.) Official Warnings; or,

  • Two (2) or more Match Suspensions - On incidents in which discipline warrants at least a two (2) match suspension.

The play in question must be, in the unanimous opinion of the Committee from all available evidence:

  • a clear and unequivocal red card; and

  • egregious and/or repeat behavior in nature, and/or

  • the Committee must act to protect Player safety or the integrity of the game.

  • Clear and obvious simulation/embellishment.

The Committee’s unanimous decision is that D.C. United defender Christopher McVey will be suspended one (1) match and issued a fine for violent conduct.

 

10.02.24 NSH-DC Surridge Simulation-Embellishment 43min

The Committee's unanimous decision is that Nashville SC forward Sam Surridge has violated the League’s policy regarding simulation/embellishment. Sam Surridge will be issued a fine for this action.

 

10.02.24 RSL-MIN Vera RC Spitting Boxall 89min

The incident was reviewed under Disciplinary Committee Parameter #2: Where the Officials See an Incident, and Issue(d) a Red Card, the Committee may review the play for further disciplinary action. Supplemental discipline (suspension and/or fine) will be administered if the Committee believes:

  • the offense is egregious in nature; and/or

  • it must act to protect Player safety; and/or

  • it must protect the integrity of the game; and/or

  • the Player is guilty of repeat behavior.

The Committee’s unanimous decision is that Real Salt Lake defender Brayan Vera will be suspended two (2) additional matches (three (3) matches total) and issued an additional fine for spitting at or on an opponent.

 

10.02.24 RSL-MIN Vera Failure to leave field 93min

The Committee's unanimous decision is that Real Salt Lake defender Brayan Vera failed to leave the field in a timely manner. Brayan Vera will be issued a fine for this action.

 

10.02.24 RSL-MIN Mass Confrontation 89min

The Committee’s unanimous decision is that Real Salt Lake has violated the League’s Mass Confrontation Policy. This is the third violation of the 2024 MLS Season for the Club. Real Salt Lake will be fined, and Head Coach Pablo Mastroeni will be fined. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following individual has been identified for supplemental discipline: Real Salt Lake defender Brayan Vera will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation (second violation of the 2024 MLS Season).

The Committee’s unanimous decision is that Minnesota United FC has violated the League’s Mass Confrontation Policy. This is the second violation of the 2024 MLS Season for the Club. Minnesota United FC will be fined, and Head Coach Eric Ramsay will be issued an Official Warning.  Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

Due to their role in the mass confrontation, the following individual has been identified for supplemental discipline: Minnesota United FC defender Carlos Harvey will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation.

The Committee's unanimous decision is that Vancouver Whitecaps FC midfielder Fafa Picault failed to leave the field in an orderly manner. Fafa Picault will be issued a fine for this action.

LA Asst. Coach Sam Green Interacted with Match Officials in the tunnel area after the Halftime whistle. The Club will be issued an Official Warning for its first violation.

10.02.24 CLT-CHI CLT Pre-Match Club Warm-Up Period Policy

CLT had a Non-Rostered player participate in warm-ups. The Club will be issued an Official Warning for its first violation with a fine held in abeyance.

10.02.24 CLB-MIA MIA Bench Personnel Policy Violation

MIA had non-rostered club staff members in the bench area, at field level, or in the locker room from ninety (90) minutes prior to kick-off until the conclusion of the match. This is MIA’s third violation (2/25 vs. LA, 9/21 vs. NYC). MIA will be issued a fine for their third violation.
