07.29.18 SEA-NYC Audio Recording Device Set Up
One microphone is stationed near the SEA bench, while the other one is stationed in front of the 4th Official’s Table. The third microphone was stationed on the 4th Official’s Table. SEA has been notified and requested to comply with the correct set up that includes one microphone near the Visiting Club’s bench. Issue resolved.
07.26.18 LAFC-LAG Bench Personnel Policy
Both the LAFC and LAG benches were observed to have been in violation of the Bench Personnel Policy which allows for a maximum of 17 individuals (staff, substitute(d) players). LAFC was officially warned that the space behind the second row of bench seats for the Home and Visiting Clubs are off limits for additional Club representatives beyond the maximum permitted.
07.29.18 SEA-NYC Roster Irregularity
SEA listed “Brown” in the reserves section of the Official Match Roster, but, after the roster exchange, requested that it be amended due to a clerical error to “Bruin”. This change was not handled according to protocol in that the PME was not immediately notified so that he could, in turn, notify the Competition Contact. This protocol error was noted to PRO.
07.28.18 TOR-CHI VMD
The VMD listed on the Official Match Notice, Ira Smith, was not stationed at the 4th Official’s Table. He sat on the TOR bench. Noted to MLS Medical.
07.28.18 TOR-CHI Video Board Policy Violation 67min
During a check for a potential penalty kick in the 67min, TOR was observed in violation of the Video Board Replay policy by displaying the replay of the incident on the video board per the Official Referee Report. Pending Investigation.
