Additional Policy Violations
08.17.19 SKC-SJ Bench Personnel Policy Violation
Three SJ players (Luis Felipe, Paul Marie, Marcos Lopez) who were not listed on the Official Match Roster were witnessed to be on the bench during warmups. Warning issued.
08.17.19 NYRB-NE Wired Cameraman Entering the Field of Play
In the 18th minute, a wired cameraman entered the field of play in violation of the new league policy. Broadcast has followed up and addressed the violation.
08.17.19 VAN-DC Fan Incidents
In the 72nd minute, a fan ran onto the field. The referee halted the game until security removed the fan. Play was restarted with a drop ball. Additionally, whistles were heard in the stands on two occasions during the match. Noted to MLS Security & Operations.
08.17.19 VAN-DC Field Conditions
The PME noted that up until minutes prior to the beginning of warm ups, several stadium facility staff were walking over the field looking for and collecting plastic shards from a floor covering used the prior evening. Most, if not all, pieces were removed prior to warm-ups beginning, but the field was not in good condition upon the PME’s arrival to the field 90 minutes prior to kickoff. Noted to MLS Operations.

NYCFC returned to the field late to begin the second half. The officials indicated that this was the 2nd week in a row in which NYC had been guilty of this. Noted to MLS Operations.
