New York City FC have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy.  This is the second violation of the 2019 MLS Season for the Club.  New York City FC will be fined and the Head Coach will be issued a fine.  Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

Toronto FC have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy.  This is the second violation of the 2019 MLS Season for the Club.  Toronto FC will be fined and the Head Coach will be issued a fine.  Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

09.14.19 CHI-DAL Badji hands to the face-head-neck Kappelhof 57min

It is the Committee’s unanimous decision that Dominique Badji has been found in violation of the League's policy regarding Hands to the Face/Head/Neck of an opponent. Mr. Badji will be issued a fine for this action.

FC Cincinnati Head Coach Ron Jans will be placed on ‘Official Warning’ for violating the Bench Behavior policy for the remainder of the 2019 MLS Season (including MLS Playoffs).

The New England Revolution have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy.  The Club will be issued a warning for their first violation.  Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach.  Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

Orlando City SC have been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy.  This is the second violation of the 2019 MLS Season for the Club.  Orlando City SC will be fined and the Head Coach will be issued a fine.  Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

  • Dom Dwyer (ORL) will be issued a fine for inciting and/or escalating a mass confrontation (second violation of the 2019 MLS Season)

09.14.19 CHI-DAL DAL Gonzalez Interacting with Match Officials at Halftime

DAL Head Coach Luchi Gonzalez was observed Interacting with Match Officials at Halftime during the CHI-DAL match. A warning was issued for his first offense of the season.

09.15.19 MIN-RSL RSL Juarez Interacting with Match Officials at Halftime

Real Salt Lake Interim Head Coach Freddy Juarez was observed by the PME to be interacting with the 4th Official on the field immediately following the halftime whistle. A warning was issued for his first offense of the season.

09.11.19 COL-LA Fan Conduct

Fans invaded the field after the match in attempt to get to LAG player, Ibrahimović. Noted to MLS Operations & Security.

09.14.19 ORL-NE Videoboard Replay Policy

In the 37th minute, the Videoboard played a replay of a potential incorrect Referee decision. The video is in slow motion and zoomed in. Pending investigation. 

09.14.19 ORL-NE Warm Up Area

Match Officials have requested that ORL move the warm up area for the visiting Club to the goal line in order to provide AR1 with more space and to avoid the potential for collisions.  Noted to MLS Operations.

09.15.19 SEA-NYRB Fan Conduct

The SEA Supporters section on the south side of the stadium displayed several anti-fascist and anti-racist banners throughout the first half.  At the start of the second half, the group marched out of the section, leaving only a few people with protest flags and banners for the second half.  Noted to MLS Operations & Security.

09.15.19 SEA-NYRB Late Kickoff

Prior to the start, NYRB were late arriving to the tunnel for the walk out. When they arrived, the procession left immediately, but there was at least a 30 second delay. Once on the field, SEA held a recognition for their original owner, that ran long. As a result, according to the Match Officials, kick off was 2:24 minutes later than the scheduled time. Noted to MLS Operations.
