09.25.19 MIN-SKC Vermes Interacting with Match Officials at Halftime

After the halftime whistle, SKC Head Coach Peter Vermes was observed by the PME interacting with the 4th Official near the sideline around midfield.  A warning was issued for the first violation of the season.

At least 4 unidentified individuals in SEA attire (who were not listed on the Official Match Roster) were observed standing near the SEA technical area. SEA has received an official warning for its first offense.

09.25.19 NYC-ATL Fan Conduct

At 75:20, the PME observed the NYC supporters behind the ATL defensive goal shout “P*to!” during an ATL goal kick. Noted to MLS Operations & Security.

09.25.19 SJ-PHI Fan Conduct

At 83:40 after a VAR penalty kick decision is made, fans behind the goal threw bottles on the field, endangering the safety of the players. The referee stopped play and an announcement was made on the PA. Noted to MLS Operations & Security.

09.25.19 SJ-PHI Video Board Replay Policy Violation

In the 8th minute, prior to the resumption of play from a video review, the video board replayed the incident 6 times in rapid succession. Violation confirmed and a warning sent. Noted to MLS Operations.

09.29.19 SJ-SEA Fan Conduct

At 30:30 after appeals for a penalty kick decision that was not given, fans behind the goal repeatedly chant “f*ck the ref!” This chant occurred again at 54:58 and 57:08 as well. Noted to MLS Operations & Security.

At 39:50, fans threw flares onto the field. Noted to MLS Operations & Security.

Post-match, fans were heckling the officials as they were exiting the field, to the extent that Robert Sibiga singled out a particular fan to security and asked to make an official complaint. Noted to MLS Operations & Security.

The Official Match Roster Exchange took place 8 minutes later than the designated time, due to the late arrival of ORL’s team admin to the meeting.
