Charlotte FC has been found in violation of the Mass Confrontation Policy. The Club will be issued a warning for their first violation. Any additional violation(s) of the policy will result in a fine to the Club and a fine to the Head Coach. Each violation thereafter will result in the doubling of the fine.

An LA Bench Personnel member removed a ball from a ball stand and delivered a ball directly to a player in the 25th minute. LA will receive an Official Warning and a fine held in abeyance, which will be payable should they violate the same policy at any point again in the 2022 season.

Multiple Non-Rostered ATL Players were seen in the bench area during warm-ups. The club will be issued an Official Warning with a fine held in abeyance until a second violation of the same incident in 2022.

ATX Assistant Coach Davy Arnaud approached the 4th Official at Halftime. He will receive an Official Warning for his first violation of the season. Subsequent violations will result in a fine.

03.12.22 HOU-VAN HOU Ball Retrieval Violation 49min
A Ball Retriever delivered a ball directly to a player in the 49th minute. HOU will receive an Official Warning and a fine held in abeyance and will be payable should they violate the same policy at any point in the 2022 season.
03.12.22 PHI-SJ
Some communication issues were identified between the VMD and 4th Official at 66:41 regarding the return to play of two players after an evaluation of each for a head injury. This apparently delayed the approval and reentry process for both players. Noted to MLS Medical.

4th Official, Alyssa Nichols, noticed that the stadium scoreboard was NOT updated to reflect the 2-0 score line for a couple of minutes while play resumed AFTER the 2nd LAFC goal in the 82nd minute. Noted to MLS Operations.
The Audio Recording Device batteries failed in the second half resulting in no capture of audio from this point on in the match. Noted to MLS Operations.

Concern was expressed by an RSL Operations representative to Match Officials that the NE penalty area was cleared of snow more frequently and in an unequal manner to that of the RSL penalty area. Noted to MLS Operations.

Ball Stand at 4th Official’s Table was on the table. Club will be notified by Competition to put it on the ground in front of the table in compliance with guidelines.
03.12.22 COL-SKC
A sub-optimal distribution of ball stands was identified. COL will be asked by Competition to adjust to cover the bench sideline more effectively.
03.13.22 RBNY-MIN
Many of the ball stand balls remained on the ball stands during half time in violation of guidelines. Noted to MLS Operations.
A banana was thrown onto the field by fans in the direction of the Match Officials and players after the Match. Noted to MLS Security.
